I am the owner at Superior Flying Services and Airport Manager of KSUW. I grew up in Hayward, WI where I developed my interest in aviation working at the airport my senior year of high school. I proceeded to attend the University of Dubuque in Iowa where I completed my Bachelors in Aviation Management and Flight Operations with a minor in business administration in 2006.

I fly as a contract pilot for a few companies in the area as well as actively still flight instructing. When I am not working I enjoy hunting, running and spending time with family and friends.

Jerry Moe is a certified flight instructor whose teaching is built on safety, precision and student success. With 25 years of experience in both flight training and real-world piloting, Jerry specializes in guiding aspiring aviators through private, instrument, commercial, and flight instructor ratings.

Known for his calm demeanor, clear communication, and hands-on teaching style, he helps students build confidence in the cockpit while mastering the fundamentals of flight. Whether on the ground or in the air, Jerry is dedicated to shaping the next generation of skilled and responsible pilots.

My name is Sam Treptau, I’m from Lakeville, MN. I began flying in 2019 out of KFCM. Shortly after receiving my PPL in 2021 I continued my aviation education at the University of North Dakota.

Outside of flying I enjoy hiking, playing pickleball, and cooking.

My name is Logan Giere and I grew up in the small town of Spicer, MN. I have been living in Superior since 2019 and been working at Superior Flying Services since March of 2020. Since working at Superior Flying I have gotten my commercial pilot’s license.

In my time at Superior Flying Services I have worked my way up from being a weekend line guy to operations manager. Outside of Superior Flying I enjoy hunting, fishing, snowmobiling, and camping.
